from 142 reviewsGiuseppe Olmo was an Italian cyclist and Olympian athlete in 1932, winning Milan-San Remo in 1935 and 1938, twenty stages in the Giro d’Italia, an Olympic gold medal, and later setting the world hour record. After his retirement, he founded Olmo Biciclette in his italian hometown, where the company continues to manufacture his bicycles nowadays.
The color scheme – combining the red with some white and yellow – is inspired by the brand’s corporate colors as well as some of the most characteristic bicycle models. It also reminds us about some of the most famous models from Tour de France, such as the Flandria teams – that competed in the Tour de France in the early 70’s- or the famous Campagnolo Raleigh – racing from 1976 to 1983.
